GENERAL INFORMATION

 

  • REGISTRATION AT THE SCHOOL OF GENERAL STUDIES

Registration of students is now centralized. Students must however, register at the School of General Studies once they have been captured at the central Registration portal by MICTU. The School of General Studies ensures that all students undergo the mandatory biometric capturing, physical clearance and collection of relevant GS books to qualify to take our examinations. Therefore, those who fail to register cannot take GST examinations.

At the end of the registration exercise, the students are issued the General Studies identity card and GST handbook. The registration exercise must be completed three weeks before the commencement of semester examination.

  • CONFLICTING REGISTRATION NUMBERS

There are some fraudulent people who are not students and who go about using other students’ registration numbers to take examinations. If you have registration number conflict, you are required to go to Admission’s Office to authenticate your number as School of General Studies does not release results of students with conflicting registration numbers.

  • HANDLING RESULTS

With the introduction of CBT, results of GST courses are usually release within 24hours after the examinations. The results sent to students in the school portal, is for sake of information. The authentic results are those sent in hard copies after the examinations.
